*Kids at the Florida Youth Club were the recent recipients of a huge clothing donation from music mogul Jay-Z, whose own flair for dressing up has landed him in second place on Esquire’s new list of Best Dressed Men in the World.
NFL star Tom Brady tops the list, while Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama comes in fourth, and NBA stars Dwayne Wade and Tony Parker are ranked No. 14 and No. 23 respectively. (The full list is available at Esquire.com.)
Last month, Jay-Z sent more than $2,500 worth of designer street wear to the Spring Hill Campaign for Adolescent and University Student Empowerment (CAUSE) in appreciation of their community efforts.
With the help of two other students, CAUSE was founded by concerned citizen Matt Morton during his freshman year at Stetson University. His goal was to use the organization to raise funds for local causes.
"There were so many kids on the street, kids like me," said Morton, 23, in the Deland-Deltona Beacon. "I wanted to help lift them up."
