*Dionne Warwick returned to her posh hotel room in Rome Monday to find that $100,000 worth of her jewelry had been stolen, Italian newspapers reported on Wednesday.
Two rings, a necklace, a Rolex watch and pair of earrings left on a night table were taken by thieves Monday while Warwick was off preparing for a concert, reported La Repubblica newspaper.
The robbery took place in the same room at the opulent Hotel De Russie where actress Cameron Diaz encountered a pair of thieves seven years ago, newspapers said.
Warwick, best known for pop hits such as "Do You Know the Way to San Jose?," "I Say A Little Prayer" and "That's What Friends Are For," is touring in Italy throughout the month.
