B.B. King

*B.B. King is the proud new owner of a juke joint in his Mississippi Delta hometown.

The blues icon purchased Club Ebony in Indianola from previous owner Mary Shepard, reports the Associated Press. Shepard says she decided to unload the property because she wanted some much needed relaxation and more time with her family.

The venue, a mainstay in the town since 1945, has hosted such musicians as Count Basie, Ray Charles, James Brown and Ike Turner

King, meanwhile, already has his name on a chain of blues clubs around the country, called "B.B. King Blues Clubs and Grill.
