SUMMARY: DC area-based, nationally known gospel artists will be rocking the Christian vote at the launch of Vote with Authority '08 this Saturday at Greater Mt. Calvary Holy Church in the heart of our nation's capital.
Ernest Pugh, The Minister John Butler and Robert Person, some of the most sought after gospel singers in the area will combine their passions with clergy and public policy experts to stimulate voter participation on Nov. 4.
Featuring the "God & Government Forum,"VWA '08 will take an in-depth look at the candidates, the issues and the intersection of faith and politics from a Christian perspective.
This is the inauguration of this first-ever event which will kick-off a national 6-city voter advocacy crusade planned through October, to return to DC for a final massive get-out-and-vote drive and day-long concert.
