Pastor Debra B. Morton, wife of Bishop Paul S. Morton, is yet again on the move.
In the midst of being installed as the Senior Pastor of Greater St. Stephens in May, and her album dropping, "My Better Half," Pastor Morton has taken on yet another commission.
On August 28-30 she will be hosting The Power Woman Retreat & Summit right outside of Atlanta, GA at Chateau Elan.
The pastor encourages attendees to participate in the launch of The Power Woman. Known as "The Gathering," Pastor Morton calls all women who walk in authority to attend this retreat. Business women, stay-at home mothers, and all ladies in between should come and find the balance within their mind, body, and spirit.
The mission of the Power Woman Retreat is to motivate and empower women to live more abundant lives through inspirational enlightenment and economic empowerment. The event plans to provide a landscape for women to market with power-brokers and partner in the religious section to provide strategies for success. It will offer instructions for women who have a desire to become entrepreneurs or advance in their careers. It plans to encourage a balance of spirit/body/mind as essential for women, and it plans to strengthen leadership skills in women for the workplace, home-life, church and the community.
