“About 1:00AM, into the Pans Labyrinth hour, I realized I better get home before I started seeing talking grasshoppers and fairies even though the party was still going strong”

*It you like your party spicey all mixed up with a variety of flavors like a cool sangria sprinkled with oranges and cherries and berries, then this was the place to be.

Latin stars poured into  Old Town Pasadena’s fine dining restaurant Villa Sorriso that offers a beautiful fountain and spacious courtyard setting with, bar, dining room, private cozy plush back room with zebra printed furniture and an upstairs private room with its own bar and mini terrace. The ambiance was truly Espana, mi nino.

Surprisingly the African-American community was well represented. I spotted Brian McNight, pretty Playboy Cyber Girl Nahtasha Budhi, gorgeous heartfluttering guaranteed to raise your blood pressure Jason George (you may remember him from the TV series Platinum about two brothers who owned a record label), actress Suzette Tomlinson and her manager Face, celeb fit trainer Sam Bell, famed photog Vinni Ratcliff (official photographer for the Conga Room) who was introducing a stunning 5’10” Nigerian model with exotic green butterfly eyes to the international crowd. Naomi, better watch out. This girl was a stunnah!!!

Among the Hispanic celebrities, I spotted Chuy (much loved little guy on Chelsea Handler); pint size child rapper Lil’ Maxo and his dad; manager P-Funk; recording artist Aubriana; recording artist Chana; actress Nataly Pena; gorgeous dark haired sultry recording star Paloma, Mariano (Mexican Ultimate Fighter); Noel G (Training Day) and actress Veronica Lauren to name a few.

As the night grew closer to midnight, the place became jammed packed.  Leave it to Latinos not to leave a party without dancing. Everyone was grooving to salsa music and R&B dance music but I have to say “sistah” Nahtasha Budhi was “the” center of attention. All eyes were glued to her outfit, a skin tight crotch short mini skirt and matching orange V plunge halter top against her smooth chocolate skintone, showing her perfectly shaped mangosteens. On her legs and feet, the girl was wearing strappy to the knee orange rawhide stilletto heel/open toed boots. Her outfit was the most espresso eye popping whopper of any worn that evening. Now that I think of it, it was very retro something like Cleopatra Jones would have worn in the seventies.

About 1:00AM, into the Pans Labyrinth hour, I realized I better get home before I started seeing talking grasshoppers and fairies even though the party was still going strong. As I was about to exit, I was stopped by a guy who looked like Tyrese (not Tyrese), who asked me to go to the after-party. I looked at him like he was loco for sure.  I let him know I have a six footer 200lb plus “I don’t play” Baltimore born and bred husband who would make me “Lean Like a Cholo” all the way back to Central America if my rear-ender was not in the house in the next 15 mins.

So, I gave Villa Sorriso Eva Peron kisses adieu and slipped out to valet. Ran into Noel G who was stranded for a ride back to his car about 10 blocks away. So I drove him and his lady to the garage and then pedaled to the metal mis Guatemalan pompis all the way home.   Buenos Noches a ti, a ti, a ti. Snooze. Kleo – Out
