Together, the gospel stars assembled on the 28-track “Gotta Have Gospel! 6” have collected scores of RIAA-certified gold and platinum albums; sold a combined 20 million-plus career units; topped Billboard's Gospel airplay and sales tallies countless times and garnered a myriad of Grammy, Stellar, GMA Dove, and Soul Train Awards.
The star-studded track listing includes selections by the likes of Kirk Franklin ("Hide Me"), Marvin Sapp ("Praise Him in Advance"), Israel & New Breed ("If Not For Your Grace"), Tye Tribbett & G.A. ("Good in the Hood"), and Dorinda Clark-Cole ("Take It Back"). The songs span from Contemporary Gospel, Urban Gospel, Praise & Worship, choral, quartet, and everything in between.
“Gotta Have Gospel! 6” will also include show-stopping performances from Stellar Award winners Jonathan Nelson ("My Name Is Victory") and DeWayne Woods ("God Is"), Resurrection Life worship leader Ken Reynolds ("Great Things") and Sound of the New Breed ("Jesus Is"), a side project from members of Israel & New Breed.
The two-disc collection will be bundled with an 9-song bonus DVD featuring music videos and live performances, including the moving concept clip for "Never Would've Made It," the chart-topping crossover smash by Marvin Sapp. Other videos include Fred Hammond's "This Is the Day," Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir's "Worthy Is the Lamb," and "Love Him Like I Do", the recent hit by Ruben Studdard, Mary Mary, and Deitrick Haddon, plus much more.
