*Jay-Z's scheduled concert tonight at the reopening of the Palladium Theater in Hollywood will feature DJ AM in his first gig since surviving a plane crash that killed four passengers and seriously wounded drummer Travis Barker.
"He's the greatest rapper in the world," the 35-year-old turntablist told People.com. "This is the biggest thing that's happened in my career."
The Palladium show will also serve as the launch of a Jay-Z tour in support of his final Def Jam album "The Blueprint 3," due Dec. 2.
It's unclear whether DJ AM, born Adam Goldstein, will join him on upcoming concert dates.
