*NeNe Leakes, one of the ladies of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," says she's got dreams that extend far beyond the weekly display of her own lifestyle via a reality show.
"I would love to just act. I would love to have my own show," she tells E! Online. "Yes, honey, The NeNe Show. I want to be like a black Lucille Ball."
"Honey, I'm coming out for pilot season," she continues, adding that she's currently seeking an agent to help her land auditions. "They're not going to hold me back. I'm not waiting a minute!"
Leakes is a "Housewives" standout after just the first two episodes, which followed the saga and aftermath of being left off the guest list of a birthday party for fellow cast member Sheree Whitfield. Leakes gave a piece of her mind to the security at the door and stormed off in a huff, with fellow Housewife, Kim, in tow.
"I just know that she better not ever leave my damn name off of her list again. She better make sure no matter what party she has, that my name needs to be at the top of the list, because I will cause some drama at yo party," Leakes said of Whitfield.
Next week's episode will focus largely on NeNe's own family drama after she receives a letter from a relative who expresses doubts about her father's paternity.
"You have to tune in to see what happens," says Leakes, a wife and mother of two boys. "But it really could help somebody. I'm sure there are lots of women and men in the world that are in my situation."
