*Bad news for Chi McBride, Blair Underwood and Loretta Devine – their ABC shows were all given the axe on Thursday.
"Pushing Daisies," a dramedy starring McBride as a private detective working with a lovelorn piemaker, has been cancelled for good, along with Underwood's "Dirty Sexy Money," about a noble lawyer working for a rich, ruthless family, and "Eli Stone," co-starring Devine as the title character's secretary.
All three shows made it to a sophomore season before being pulled.
To fill the gaps left in ABC's schedule, "Private Practice" will take the post-"Grey's Anatomy" slot as of Dec. 11. "Life on Mars" will air after "Lost" beginning Jan. 28. And "Scrubs" will arrive Jan. 6 on ABC, reports EW.com's Michael Ausiello.
