*Actor Dule Hill will appear with his "Psych" co-star James Roday in a new 30-second spot for Kia Motors, reports Variety. The ad is a product of a deal forged between the automaker and USA Network, which airs "Psych" and will roll out the remaining episodes of the third season beginning Friday (Jan. 9) at 10 p.m. The Kia ad features the "Psych" stars in character, trying to elude a gunman driving a Kia Optima.
*B.B. King will be honored at the Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi's Crystal Ball gala on Jan. 17 for his contributions to music and his representation of his native state to the world. The event's theme of Mardi Gras will include beads, hurricane shanties, a zydeco band, the Fabulous Steelers, dinner catered by First Choice and silent and live auctions. *Rapper Kurupt has three new projects slated for release this year, including an album with DJ Quik and a new imprint to be distributed through Fontana/Universal, he told AllHipHop.com. The newly founded Penagon Entertainment will be run by Kurupt and his Atlanta-based management firm Lakeshow Management. The agreement with Fontana/Universal will allow the former Death Row Records VP to retain all creative control over his music and those signed to the label. The Quik collabo, entitled "Blaqout," will be released via Quik's Mad Science Records, which is also distributed by Fontana/Universal.
