VOICE OVER ACTOR RELEASES INSPIRATIONAL CD: Rodney Saulsberry’s sophomore album already a hit in Japan and Great Britain.

January 12, 2009

Rodney Saulsberry      Rodney Saulsberry is one of the most sought after voiceover artist in the world. His voice is heard on many commercials for products such as Twix Candy Bars, Zatarain’s Cajun Foods and Toyota Camry. Saulsberry released his sophomore album, “Better Than Before,” a collection of seven Inspiration/Gospel selections recently.

Also an author of two best selling books “You Can Bank on Your Voice" and "Step Up to the Mic,” Rodney’s newest CD is released on his own “indie” label TomDor Records. His first album was produced by jazz bassist Stanley Clarke and this one is produced by Saulsberry, T.C. Campbell, Robert Martin, Travis Allen Childress and Rob M. Miller. His singing voice is reminiscent of Will Downing and the music is so beautiful that if the lyrics don’t uplift you, the music will.

Gospel inspiration can be found in “I’m Your Guy,” which sings about the Christian man; “Miracle,” talks of Gods power and love for us, and “Wait on Me” is a testimony of how God works in our lives.

Saulsberry’s voice can be heard on the tune “Hakuna Matata” on the Lion King movie soundtrack, as announcer on Dancing with the Stars, and as God’s voice on the MAX presentation, “The Comebacks.” He is also an actor who appeared recently as James Rhodes in the film "The Invincible Iron Man" and in the past on "Hill Street Blues." As a songwriter Rodney wrote “I’m Glad You’re Mine,” which appeared on the Michael Jordan’s An American Hero TV show in 1999.
