*After buying four brownies at Snoop Dogg’s backstage “bake sale” Sunday night at the American Music Awards, Bobby Brown expressed his feelings about Britney Spears’ current remake of his 1989 single “My Prerogative.”

"I love the video. I'm not impressed with the music,” he said. “It's not mine. 'Call me Britney, we'll get together and I'll show you how to really do it. Don't do that again.' That is my anthem and I wouldn't mess with “Toxic” or anything like that, but I love Britney."

Meanwhile, word has it that Britney has enrolled at Pepperdine University, located near her Malibu crib.

A source told Femalefirst: "Despite all the money she has, Britney is getting bored. She is enjoying her current newlywed status, but even she knows that fame won't last forever. She wants to start a family, but sees combining that and studying a perfect way to spend married life."

While we’re on the subject of teen pop stars, Ashlee Simpson is begging “Saturday Night Live” boss Lorne Michaels to give her a chance to redeem herself after the lip-synching debacle.  An insider says, "They're trying to work something out."

*Meanwhile, “The New York Post” is reporting that Justin Timberlake had to administer the Heimlich Maneuver recently to help a friend choking on peanuts.

"Justin was playing pool with buddies when one of them swallowed a handful of peanuts," the "Post" reports. "Too many lodged in his throat, and Justin's pal couldn't catch his breath."

The peanuts reportedly popped out and all was well, according to the paper.
