*Nia Long has been cast in the Sandra Bullock film "Premonition," a supernatural thriller from Sony Pictures set to shoot in Shreveport, La. Long will play the best friend of Bullock’s character. The story follows a housewife (Bullock) whose husband (Julian McMahon of "Nip/Tuck") dies in a car crash, but then appears alive the next day. Amber Valletta also joins the cast as the mistress of McMahon's character and Kate Nelligan will play the mother of Bullock’s character. *Terrence Howard is reportedly getting dating advice from professional bachelor George Clooney and one-time playboy Ben Affleck. The Oscar nominee for “Hustle & Flow,” separated from his wife, said the two Hollywood superstars are hoping he’ll avoid some of the common single man pitfalls. “They say, 'It's all right here in front of you - you can have your pick (of women). You'll sleep with somebody and you won't tell nobody about it,” Howard told Contact Music. “But if you sleep with a woman, she'll tell everyone she knows.'" *The Oscar-nominated film “Crash” has earned FamilyMediaGuide.com’s top prize for the most curse words in a film nominated for best picture. The watchdog group, which tracks incidents of profanity, sex, violence and tobacco use in films, reported Tuesday that "Crash" had 182 curse words, including 99 utterances of the F-bomb. "Brokeback Mountain" ranked second among best picture nominees with 92 curse words, followed by "Munich" with 22, according to FamilyMediaGuide.com. The Vietnam War drama "Platoon" is the bleeping champ with 329. "The Deer Hunter" is second with 208. *Samuel L. Jackson, who will be 58 by the end of this year, says he may be getting too old to play his dream role in “Afro-Samurai,” an action flick he’s been developing about a black swordmaster. The actor, currently starring in “Freedomland” opposite Julianne Moore, told Contact Music, “I'm actually having those kinds of thoughts now about (that) project, the longer it takes to come along - 'Do I really want to get in shape to do that? Or do I want to let somebody else do it?' You've got to be honest with yourself about where you are and what you're doing. I've wanted to do a sword epic since I was a kid, from the Errol Flynn days. There are older masters that do that kind of stuff, but that's not who this character is." *Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton began shooting “The Simple Life” this week, but the two former best friends are still not speaking to each other, reports the New York Post. The two had a falling out following the third season and haven’t spoken to each other since. The fourth season will feature the celebutantes in separate houses in Los Angeles. One of them will move in with Hasidic Jews; the other with a Korean family, says the Post. *Jennifer Lopez was added Tuesday (Feb. 28) to the list of presenters for the 78th Academy Awards, joining previously announced presenters Jamie Foxx, Morgan Freeman, Queen Latifah, Will Smith, Terrence Howard, Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges and more. Lopez recently finished shooting “Bordertown” and will be seen next in “El Cantante.” Speak Out
