"To my DC brothers and sisters: You're not alone; I totally feel you on the replacement of your local morning show with Steve Harvey's syndicated show (EUR: 3-10-06) because it happened to us in Chicago, too.

Is it just me or has this 'nationally syndicated' thing gotten out of control? To me, no one does the national show thing better than Tom Joyner. Perhaps this is because Tom is rooted in radio as a true DJ, and not as a 'semi-popular' person who has managed to pimp his marginal fame, subsequently using it as a criterion to launch a syndicated show.

Y'all SHOULD be annoyed; if Steve's show was even remotely funny, that'd be different; but it isn't. It is an utter mess."
