HIP-HOP SUMMIT ACTION NETWORK PRESENTS FIRST BI-LINGUAL PUBLICATION: 'Get Your Money Right' is a User-Friendly Financial Empowerment Workbook

Recognizing and supporting the growth of the Latino population across the United States, the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network (HSAN) this week unveiled its first bi-lingual publication. Entitled “Get Your Money Right,” the 184 page user-friendly workbook is split evenly between its English and Spanish versions. HSAN is committed to providing bi-lingual resources to serve the empowerment needs of the Latino community.

The “Get Your Money Right” book was specially designed to be utilized through out HSAN’s 2006 national tour on financial empowerment. The workbook is divided into chapters with invaluable information on Budgeting, Savings and Building Wealth; What You Need to Know About Credit; Understanding Your FICO Score; Becoming a Homeowner; How To Save For the Future and Vehicle Financing 101. In addition, there is a directory and bibliography to assist the reader in utilizing additional resources regarding financial literacy.

The Hip-Hop Summit Action Network’s National 2006 Tour on Financial Empowerment kicks off on college campuses nationwide, beginning on March 25 in Detroit, MI at Wayne State University. Other dates include April 22 in New York City, May 20 in Miami, FL, September 16 in Atlanta, GA., September 30 in Los Angeles, CA. and October 14 in Dallas, TX.
