       *Jagged Edge, Sean Paul and Nick Lachey are on the performance bill for "Style Stage NYC," a two day fashion, shopping and music event to take place Friday, May 5 and Saturday, May 6 at the Metropolitan Pavilion and Altman Building, located at 125 and 135 West 18th Street in New York City. With over 60 designer sample sales under one roof, shoppers can also enjoy up to 60 percent off of the hottest designer handbags, denim, shoes, apparel, accessories and many more. The two day event will be split into three different sessions for admission. Tickets will be sold via www.topbutton.com/stylestage/.       

      *The Urban League of Long Island will set sail to the cobalt blue seas of Cozumel, Mexico for its second annual "Fantasy Cruise for Charity" aboard the Carnival Inspiration June 29 - July 3 from Tampa, Florida. Performers Ray, Goodman & Brown, saxophonist Mike Phillips, Johnny 'The Duke' Allen and DJ Lloyd Hicks will also be on board. Guests will be able to play golf at the Iberostar Playa Paraiso Gold Club, or indulge in spa activities and duty-free shopping.        *On Thursday, April 6, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus will honor key community and business leaders in New York’s urban community at the annual Community and Business Leaders Appreciation Reception, to be held at the 40/40 Club (6 W. 25th Street, New York, NY) at 6 p.m.  The event gives recognition to the upstanding members of the community for their commitment to making positive changes within the urban community. This year’s theme is “Caring Enough to Make a Difference.” Twenty recipients will receive a special award at the reception, as well as recognition on the floor of Madison Square Garden at the circus performance on Saturday, April 8 at 7:30 p.m. 

      * In honor of Hip Hop Summit Action Network’s (HSAN's) 5th anniversary, the next Hip-Hop Summit on Financial Empowerment will be held April 22 in New York City, the first Hip-Hop Summit there since the very first one in June of 2001. This year's "Get Your Money Right" tour includes stops that coincide with the college school year schedule on May 20 in Miami, September 16 in Atlanta, September 30 in Los Angeles and October 14 in Dallas.
