MARIAH CAREY, ELIZABETH ARDEN MAKE COMMON SCENTS: Singer signs deal with company to launch line of fragrance products.
*Smells like something new is on the horizon for Mariah Carey. The singer has just signed an exclusive global licensing agreement with Elizabeth Arden Inc. to develop and market her own line of fragrance products, the company announced Thursday.
Carey’s first fragrance will arrive in the spring of 2007. The artist will be personally involved in all aspects of product development, packaging and marketing. Financial terms of the agreement were not made public.
