*It was Mandisa Hundley who was forced Wednesday night to watch footage of her “American Idol” journey on the big screen as Daniel Powter’s “Bad Day” serenaded her out of the competition.

The 29-year-old’s rendition of Shania Twain's "Any Man of Mine" Tuesday night received a lukewarm reaction from the judges, and the ultimate cold shoulder from voters, as it came down to Mandisa and fellow contestants Elliot Yamin and Paris Bennett in the bottom three – all strong soulful performers.

Certainly, flashbacks came to mind of power-belters Jennifer Hudson, Fantasia Barrino and LaToya London landing in the bottom three during the show’s third season, with Hudson receiving the ticket home. Mandisa, take note: Hudson is now starring opposite Beyonce Knowles, Eddie Murphy and Jamie Foxx in “Dreamgirls.”

Also, last week’s ousted finalist, Lisa Tucker, just booked a guest role on “The O.C,” which should be a breeze for the 16-year-old, who actually resides in the O.C. (Orange County, CA) with her family.

Tucker, a senior at John F. Kennedy High School in La Palma, begins production next week on an episode called "The Party Favor," in which she attends Harbor High School's senior prom. The episode is scheduled to air April 27 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
