PAULA ABDUL ALLEGES ASSAULT: 'AI' judge says incident happened last weekend.

The LAPD is investigating a charges filed by the "American Idol" judge that say a man threw her against a wall and left her with spinal injuries as well as a concussion after an argument at a private party last weekend.
The name of the man Abdul accused of injuring her has not been released because the investigation was still underway, say officials.
"She said the man grabbed her arm and threw her up against a wall," Lt. Paul Vernon of the LAPD told the LA Times. "She complained she suffered a concussion and spinal injuries."
Vernon said the incident, alleged to have occurred about 1 a.m. Sunday at a private party at Sunset Boulevard and Gower Street, is being investigated as a battery case.
As we all know, Abdul appeared on "American Idol" Tuesday and Wednesday.
