*Rumors of Lil’ Kim sneaking a mobile phone onto her cell block and causing havoc at the Philadelphia Federal Detention Center are false, according to her publicist, Tracy Nguyen. In a statement released yesterday to set the record straight, Nguyen wrote:  "The rumors about Kim having a cell phone snuck into the prison for her use are completely false. While her unit, with over half of the female population in the detention center is currently on lockdown, the reasons for the lockdown have absolutely nothing to do with Kim. She has been a model inmate while serving her time and looks forward to her release."

*Eminem has reportedly softened a bit when it comes to his mother Debbie Mathers-Briggs, who is currently suffering from stage four breast cancer. Neither has spoken to each other since she sued him for defamation of character following his song, “Cleanin’ Out My Closet,” in which he calls her a drug addict and alcoholic, among other things. According to reports, the rapper has decided to leave the past behind and take care of his mother’s $368,000 in hospital bills. A source tells British newspaper The Sun: "The nightmare Debbie has been going through with her cancer has put everything in perspective. ...He has recently started helping her financially with her medical bills, they have spoken a few times on the phone and now she desperately hopes he will visit her."
