My girlfriend, should we try to work things out, from a first failed try at a relationship, or should we cut our second attempt?
Advice Chick replies,
If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. Since both of you are willing to try – try. Who knows? Perhaps the issues that prevented a successful relationship initially have been, or can be, resolved. However - if she cheated on you, she just might cheat again. You can forgive her, but can you trust her? How can she regain your trust? These are questions that only you can honestly answer. I believe once a cheater, always a cheater – but hey, you’ve got to go with your heart.
Remember, relationships are not easy. If they were, everyone would have a successful one. Good luck and happy fourth! I hope you and she make some fireworks of your own!
