*New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter has come out with a new signature fragrance through Avon Products. The scent, titled Driven, is designed to “capture ambition, courage, passion and confidence” through a blend of crushed leaves, black pepper, chilled grapefruit, rhubarb, lavender, spearmint, bamboo, driftwood and oak moss, the company said. "I knew what I wanted. I didn't want it to overtake a room," Jeter, 32, told The Associated Press in an interview Tuesday. "I wanted it to be clean and sophisticated." Jeter said he was involved in the development process and will appear in the cologne’s print ads. Available in November for $25 per bottle, Driven is the first in a series of men's grooming products from Avon that will bear Jeter's name. *Not to be outdone, tennis star James Blake, ranked fifth in the world, has signed a multiyear, mid-six-figure endorsement deal with bottled water company Evian. In the marketing world, it's given him a new level of credibility as a corporate spokesperson," said Blake's agent, Carlos Fleming. Blake is also Evian’s first athlete endorser. *Tiger Woods said he will compete at the 2006 Deutsche Bank Championship, to be held Aug. 29-Sept. 4 at the Tournament Players Club of Boston.
