*Beginning next month, TV One will begin feeding viewers a healthy dose of fresh new programming, including a show hosted by Bill Bellamy and a reality series starring Snoop Dogg and his Youth Football League.

“We are excited to unveil this diverse group of entertainment and reality series that will join TV One’s schedule over the next few months,” said TV One Executive Vice President of Programming and Production Rose Catherine Pinkney. “At TV One, we want all of our programming to entertain, while at the same time staying focused on our goal of continuing to portray the breadth and depth of African American culture.

Also premiering in the coming months are shows featuring black men being unabashedly candid about women and other topics while playing dominoes, and a reality show that follows the marriage of former Tennessee Titan Eddie George and his wife Taj, from the group SWV.

Peep the details of all four shows below:

• “Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes?” – Actor and comedian Bill Bellamy brings his own unique brand of humor to TV One when Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes? hits the road this fall in search of the edgiest, funniest “clean” comedian or comedienne in the USA. Each episode of this ground-breaking comedy competition hosted by Bill Bellamy  – except for the final round -- will be judged by a panel of audience members during tapings in Los Angeles, Atlanta and Chicago. How will contestants provoke laughter while keeping offensive language in check? That’s the challenge. The final winner will be decided by votes from the viewing audience. The 13-episode, one-hour series will be challenged to, produced by Funny Man Productions, began production September 9. Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes is expected to begin airing on TV One Saturday nights at 10 PM beginning October 7.

• “Black Men Revealed” – Each week four men will put it all on the game table when they accept an invitation to play dominoes with the cameras rolling. Set in a swank loft with city views atop the Hollywood Hills, these brothers toast to telling nothing but the truth about all the things women want to know.  From “Will he respect me in the morning?” to “Why deadbeat dads don’t pay up?” and “Is it ever okay to hit a woman?,” these guys will eventually leave no hot topic untouched.  But lest things get too serious, hilarious young stand-up comic and host David Arnold will keep it light and keep the conversation moving. The eight-episode one-hour series, produced for TV One by MacVision, Another Bright Idea Entertainment and King Artist Management, will begin filming in mid-September and is scheduled to premiere Sunday, October 15 at 10 PM.

• “Snoop’s Youth Football League” - You've known him as Snoop Dogg the Rapper. Now get to know him as Snoop the father, coach and community leader. Last year Snoop began funding a youth football league, the Snoop Youth Football League, whose participation and advancement is based on academics, community service, team work and leadership skills. More than 2,500 disadvantaged youth in the Los Angeles area participate in the league each year. Follow Snoop, the youth on his team (including his star athlete son), their families and coaches in this reality show and watch the comedy and drama unfold as real men teach these young boys about manhood. The eight episode, half-hour series is produced by Strange Fruit Film and TV, Natural Resources Media Tech Group LLC and Axcess Sports and Entertainment.

• “I Married A Baller” is a reality series about the marriage, family and daily lives of some of America's most famous couples.  The series will follow the wives of sports figures and their husbands as they maneuver the world of fame, fortune, sports, marriage and families. The first series will feature former Tennessee Titan and Hall of Famer Eddie George and his wife Taj, a member of SWV, the recently re-united hot singing trio popular in the early ‘90s. Taj and Eddie lead incredibly busy lives. The series offers an up-close-and-personal glimpse as these newlyweds manage two careers, two kids and often two completely different ideas of what to do and how to do it. Will love conquer all? Of course, but sometimes the ride will be bumpy. This half-hour, eight-episode series is produced for TV One byTurner/Love Productions.
