MICAH STAMPLEY RELEASES SOPHOMORE PROJECT: Album to be released on artist's own new label
Micah Stampley, the male Gospel breakout artist of 2005, is back with his sophomore album, A Fresh Wind. After only one year and incredible debut success including the second highest debut for a Male Gospel Artist in the history of Billboard, Micah is releasing his soon to be hit song of the year "Never Let You Go."
A Fresh Wind, is a refreshing compendium of exuberant worship and praise melodies and Micah's latest heart touching lyrical and musical masterpiece. The single "Never Let You Go" expresses the emptiness of life without Christ as our anchor, and the hope and security that can only be found in the clutch of his hand. A Fresh Wind delivers a fresh sound to an ancient message.
A Fresh Wind is the product of a combination of Micah Stampley's years of experience as a world renowned Praise and Worship leader, life lessons, and divine direction. "The first thing that I want people to feel when they listen to this new project is the Love of God. I want to pull them into an experience that might be new for them or maybe even refreshing. We all need a "refreshing" sometimes. Recording this project was like being lifted up into a new dimension in my relationship with my Father; whom I love so much! I'll never let Him go and I want the listeners to enjoy God just as much as I enjoy Him," explains Micah.
A Fresh Wind will be released on Levitical Records LLC the entrepreneurial venture of Micah and Heidi Stampley and distributed nationally by Central South Distribution, Inc. Central South distributes many of the top Christian artist and Christian divisions of many major labels including projects by platinum artist Take 6, gold artist Juanita Bynum, Tammy Trent, and Helen Baylor to name a few.
"Never Let You Go" and A Fresh Wind will be released on October 10, 2006 and Micah will begin the 20 city Passion Tour with Juanita Bynum on September 11, 2006. The following tour dates and cities have been confirmed and additional cities will be added:
