*A former assistant of rapper Foxy Brown has dropped her complaint against the entertainer after both parties agreed to avoid contact with each other and refrain from talking about the issue to the press.

Brown, whose real name is Inga Marchand, appeared in Municipal Court Tuesday in a case brought against her by Rasheeda Ellis, a former consultant to Brown's management company who claimed the artist made terrorist threats against her, among other allegations.

According to the Associated Press, Brown, 27, lingered in the court hallway as her lawyer tried to get the judge to ban photographers from shooting her picture. The judge refused the request and ordered Brown to remove her sunglasses while in court. Brown never said a word during, or after the hearing.

Last month, the Brooklyn rapper pleaded guilty in a New York court to misdemeanor assault charges stemming from a 2004 fight with salon workers over a manicure. The plea deal spared her jail time but required her to serve three years' probation and take anger management classes, according to the Manhattan district attorney's office.
