*FoxNews.com’s Roger Friedman is reporting that Janet Jackson’s 60-pound weight gain had nothing to do with a role in the upcoming film, “Tennessee.” “Insiders from that movie claim that no one ever asked Janet to gain that weight, and it wasn’t called for in the script,” writes Friedman. “A very fit Mariah Carey will play the role now when the movie shoots in January.”

*On Tuesday’s episode of “The View,” the name “Star Jones” actually came out of the mouth of her replacement as co-host, Rosie O’Donnell. During the hot topics segment, O’Donnell and co-host Joy Behar – who have known each other for decades from the stand-up circuit – have been playfully ribbing each other since the new season began. Things jokingly came to a boiling point Tuesday when Behar teased O’Donnell about the questionable criteria that allowed her to become high school homecoming queen. After a few more jokes at Rosie’s expense, Behar said she’s always wanted to be the pretty homecoming queen. To make her feel better, guest host Audra McDonald asked what Joy’s homecoming queen is doing now. “Probably sleeping with Rosie,” Behar laughed.  O’Donnell turned to the audience and said: “Oh honey, I miss Star Jones right now. I’m telling you, I do.”

*A trailer has finally been released for the new Denzel Washington flick “Déjà Vu,” which stars the actor as an ATF agent investigating an explosion on a New Orleans Ferry. He soon discovers that what most people believe is only in their heads is actually something far more powerful – and will lead him on a mind-bending race to save hundreds of innocent people. Touchstone will release the film in November. Watch the trailer courtesy of Yahoo Movies: http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/dejavu.html

*”The Tyra Banks Show” is looking for a “special audience” to fill the seats of an upcoming show, according to the Web site TV Tickets. (http://tvtix.com/show.php?eventID=273&scheduleID=12391) “Producers are requesting only people comfortable sitting in just their underwear sign up to be in this taping's audience,” reads the release. “Big, small, short, tall, as long as you don’t mind stripping down to your skivies Tyra wants you there. Acceptable dress is bra and panties, boxers and a tanktop, or slips; but NO PAJAMAS this is an UNDERWEAR show. Plan on arriving fully dressed and stripping down on set DURING THE SHOW!!!”

*Filming on a new series from “Grey’s Anatomy” creator Shonda Rhimes has been put on hold until the end of the year or early next year, reports the New York Post. The project’s executive producer Peter Horton, who also oversees “Grey’s Anatomy,” says the delay is due to time constraints between both shows. "That's one of the challenges. She'd have to do both, because every script has to eventually go through her typewriter," Horton said. As previously reported, Rhimes’ new series will center around the lives of journalists.

*“That’s So Raven” star Raven Symone presented Children's Miracle Network with a $75,000 donation during a fashion benefit held Monday in Toronto. More than 300 guests and media attended the formal gala and fashion show, which showcased outfits from the newly-launched That's So Raven fall and winter collections available at Wal-Mart. “Philanthropy has always been a critical part of my life," said Symone. "It's an honor to come to Canada and be part of such an amazing event that benefits one of the largest non-profit organizations in North America and ultimately helps children." The That's So Raven line is designed by Disney, with input from Raven, and feature looks for trend-forward girls ages 7-to-16-years old.
