*“Last Comic Standing” finalist Roz, best known for her line “I ain’t got jokes, I got problems!” will make an appearance on HBO’s “Russell Simmons Def Comedy Jam” on Sunday, October 22 (11:00 p.m. EST). She’ll also appear on Martin Lawrence’s new Black Starz series “First Amendment Standup” in March 2007. *The rift between Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton seems to be over, as the two former best friends have agreed to film a fifth season of “The Simple Life” together, executive producer Jon Murray told The Associated Press. The 25-year-old celebutantes will serve as camp counselors in the new installment, which is set to begin production next month for a bow on E! next spring. The show will also explore "what led to the breakdown in the friendship and maybe some of the misunderstandings and things that got in the way," Murray said. *Tiger Woods is on the talk show circuit this week promoting the latest version of his videogame franchise “Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07,” which is available in stores now for Xbox, PlayStation, PSP and PC, and will be released Oct. 17 for Xbox 360. Compete against 21 of the world's top players, including Tiger Woods, John Daly, Vijay Singh, and Annika Sorenstam. Dominate any of the 21 courses on Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 07, such as the newly added Four Seasons Resort Aviara, The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island, Riviera Country Club, The National, and The K Club. Use the all new Team Tour mode to assemble a team, improve your status, establish rivalries and drive for the coveted EACup as you hunt down Tiger. *USA Today has published a photo of Angelina Jolie as Mariane Pearl in the upcoming Paramount Vantage film “A Mighty Heart,” currently filming in Pune, India. Some elements of the black blogosphere are accusing the studio of participating in “modern day blackface” for not casting a black actress to play Pearl, the part Afro-Cuban widow of slain Wall Street Journal reporter Danny Pearl. The Brad Pitt-produced drama, directed by Michael Winterbottom, is based on Mariane Pearl’s book "A Mighty Heart: The Brave Life and Death of My Husband Danny Pearl."
