SPIKE LEE EYES ‘INSIDE MAN’ SEQUEL: Director in talks to helm second heist film; no word if Denzel will return.

*Spike Lee is said to be in negotiations to direct a sequel to his spring hit “Inside Man,” a heist film starring Denzel Washington, Jodie Foster and Clive Owen.
According to Variety, Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment are developing the sequel, but it is unknown whether the characters played by Washington, Foster and Owen will be returning.
The thriller earned nearly $90 million at the domestic box office and even more overseas, making it Lee's highest grossing film.
The director and returning screenwriter Russell Gewirtz are currently discussing ideas for the sequel, reports Variety.
