*Diana Ross wants her upcoming album to be the definitive, go-to disc for any occasion that has to do with the celebration of love.

Titled “I Love You,” the Motown icon’s new collection of 14 long songs will be released as a CD, a deluxe CD/DVD package and in digital form on Jan. 16 via Manhattan/EMI.

Among the included songs are “Remember,” “More Today than Yesterday,” and “I Want You,” made famous in 1974 by Marvin Gaye and co-written by Ross’ brother T-Boy Ross with Leon Ware.

"I Love You (That's All That Really Matters)" is the lone new song on the album and is described as a “gorgeous, heartfelt ballad” from writer Fred White, who has toured with Ross as a back-up singer for six years.

Another track, "What About Love," was written for Oprah Winfrey's stage production of "The Color Purple." The composers are Brenda Russell, Allee Willis and Stephen Bray.

The CD's package includes photos by Herb Ritts, Randee St. Nicholas and Douglas Kirkland and a letter to fans from Ross. The deluxe edition adds a DVD with a photo gallery and an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the making of the album.
