      *Singer R. Kelly was to miss a court date in his child pornography case Wednesday because he was hospitalized in Miami with appendicitis, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.  Assistant Cook County State’s Attorney Shauna Boliker said Kelly was in Miami for the Super Bowl, and no longer needs permission in advance to travel out of state, under a ruling by Judge Vincent Gaughan.

      *Justin Timberlake has invited his “D**k in a Box” collaborator Andy Samberg to sing their infamous “Saturday Night Live” song during his concerts this week at New York’s Madison Square Garden, reports the New York Post.  A rep for Timberlake responded, "There may be a lot of surprises at Justin's show."

      *A rep for Eminem is denying reports in Britain's Mirror tabloid Tuesday that claims he and his ex-wife Kim are engaged for a third time. As previously reported, singer Akon, who duets with Eminem on "Smack That," is quoted by the paper as saying Eminem “can't live with her, and he can't live without her. But they are meant for each other. They are engaged again." But Em’s rep, Dennis Dennehy, tells People: "Those reports are absolutely untrue."      

      *On tour to promote the group's second album "Late Night Special" -- which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 -- Pretty Ricky will be using the Eventful Demand service to let their fans compete for a stop on their tour. Once a city reaches 1,000 demands, Pretty Ricky will book the show.       *Virgin Mobile USA has added Snoop Dogg to its exclusive First Dibs ringtone program. Available exclusively to Virgin Mobile customers are three instrumental ringtones from his album “Tha Blue Carpet Treatment”: "That's That," "Vato" (instrumental beat), and "Vato" (instrumental hook).
