‘B-DAY’ PART TWO, LET THE HYPE BEGIN: Expanded version due in April; first single unleashed everywhere yesterday.
*Wednesday marked the grand unveiling of Beyonce’s new single “Beautiful Liar,” a duet with Columbian superstar Shakira that is available in four different formats on a new expanded two-CD edition of her Grammy-winning album, “B’Day.”
“Beautiful Liar" was serviced in four versions -- album version, all Spanish version, Spanglish version and a radio edit -- to all radio formats in the U.S. at 5 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 28).
The radio play was to begin a few hours after the video for "Beautiful Liar" debuted on MTV's "TRL." Its 106 & Park" premiere on BET was scheduled to follow later in the afternoon. Beyonce was due on the set of both programs to deliver the video in person.
Music World/Columbia Records will release “B'Day Deluxe Edition” on Tuesday, April 3, with the set’s 12 original tracks and a number of extra material. In addition to “Beautiful Liar,” Disc One premieres four additional new songs in English: "Kissing You," "Flaws & All," "Welcome To Hollywood," and hidden bonus track, "Worldwide Woman."
Disc Two of the “B’Day Deluxe Edition” debuts six new Spanish language tracks including the other mixes of "Beautiful Liar," Spanish language versions of "Listen (Oye)" and "Irreplaceable (Irreemplazable)," and "Amor Gitano," Beyonce's flamenco-pop duet with Latin superstar Alejandro Fernandez.
Co-written by Beyonce with Grammy-winning songwriters/recording artists Reyli Barba and Jaime Flores, "Amor Gitano" can be heard as the theme music for "Zorr La Espada y La Rosa (The Sword and the Rose)," a telenovela on Telemundo.

April 3 brings the arrival of Beyonce’s “B'Day Anthology Video Album,” a collection available exclusively at Wal-Mart and featuring videos for the songs "Kitty Kat (intro)"/"Greenlight," "Upgrade U" featuring Jay-Z, "Deja Vu," "Ring The Alarm," "Irreplaceable," "Listen," "Suga Mama," "Get Me Bodied," "Freakum Dress," "Flaws & All," "Kissing You" and "Beautiful Liar" featuring Shakira. As an added bonus, the video collection features 15 minutes of exclusive behind-the-scene footage.
