*There was no hint of divorce, separation or even bad feelings between Chris Rock and his wife, Malaak, during Wednesday’s episode of “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” but was their appearance as a happy couple just an act?

Last November, news reprts stated that Rock had begun divorce proceedings, and a friend of Chris' confirmed the couple was talking to lawyers. But then, the two began showing up at events hand-in-hand as if things were fine. Soon, reports of them attempting to work things out began to surface.

Cut to Wednesday, when the Rocks appeared on “Oprah” with their two daughters in tow to promote his new movie, “I Think I Love My Wife,” which is due in theaters on March 19th. The film is about a man who seemingly has it all – a beautiful wife, kids, career – but grows bored with his daily routine and is tempted to cheat after a chance encounter with an ex-girlfriend, played by Kerry Washington.

Kerry Washington & Chris Rock sizzle in 'I Think I Love My Wife'

Several weeks ago, Washington called off her engagement to actor David Moscow, which has generated rumors that her role in the film was “a little closer to real life than Chris would like to admit,” reports the New York Daily News.

Washington tells the newspaper Rock had nothing to do with her breakup with Moscow, and Chris' rep maintains, "Everything is fine at home for the Rocks."

However, the Daily News claims that producers of "I Think I Love My Wife" have asked Chris not to make any decisions about his own marriage until after the movie's March 17 release. "They read him the riot act," says a source.

According to the Daily News: “Malaak's friends say she complains that Chris doesn't offer enough support in her charitable work. Others say Malaak worries about his time away from home. About five years ago, L.A.-based model Monika Zsibrita pressed a paternity claim against Chris. (Three DNA tests established he wasn't the father of Zsibrita's child.) Rock's rep says that his relationship with Zsibrita took place while he and Malaak were separated.”
