*Robin Thicke is currently in talks to write his first film score for the upcoming film “This Wednesday,” an urban drama starring his wife Paula Patton as a pimp.

The feature, from writer-director Christine Crokos, is based on the true story of a female pimp in Atlanta.

Best known for her roles opposite Denzel Washington in “Déjà Vu” and Andre Benjamin in “Idlewild,” Patton will play Wednesday, the "trick baby" of a pimp father and prostitute mother.

"Wednesday" will be expanded from Crokos' 2001 short "Heroine Helen," about the same character. Shooting is expected to begin late this year in Philadelphia.

Thicke, the son of actor Alan Thicke, is enjoying his fifth week at the top of the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart with his hit single, “Lost Without U,” from his album “The Evolution of Robin Thicke.”
