THE BRIDGE: Top Ten Offensive Rappers

*Old Dumb Don Imus had no idea that he would end up being the poster child for the current exposed racist of the month.  And he couldn’t have realized that he would be used as the long awaited and sorely needed impetus for Black women to turn against the rappers they had been excusing for far too long.

But, finally, there are a number of groups being formed by Black women, taking personal responsibility for forcing the rappers and the music industry to demonstrate more respect.

Now that sisters across the nation seem finally ready to put their foot down, perhaps Black men in huge numbers will stand with them and maybe, just maybe, this current movement against negative lyrics in rap music will last.

In case this is real, I’m slinging a target list that should be used for boycott lists and for passing out ass beatings in general.

In another Top Ten List, here’s my list of rappers who are currently the most offensive:

Top Ten List of Offensive Rappers

1. Snoop Doggy Dogg.
This male bitch has slung more bitches and hoes than a little bit and while there are perhaps other rappers who have used the words more or more offensively, this idiot takes the top spot for trying to draw a line between the women he calls hoes in his songs and women he thinks are not hoes. Shut up, stupid!

2. Jay Z
It has always perplexed me that women love this punk so much.  His lyrics are just mediocre and he has the nerve to refer to himself as Jehovah or Hov for short.  Now if slapping that sister in Africa wasn’t enough to get women off this living cartoon’s jock, I just don’t get the world.

3. Three Six Mafia
These idiots have been making stupid music for years, and at some point could have made a change, since they were talking about how much control they have with their stupid independent label, but they just made it worse with a stupid song from a worthless movie, yelling “Whoop that trick!”

4. Too Short
After all these years, Short Dogg made sure to come back in 2006 and let folks know that he was the man who made “bitch” a household name in rap music.  Good job!

5. Fifty Cents
“I’m just into having sex, I ain’t into makin’ love,” this honest idiot once rhymed. Nice message, fella! And, really, seeing Vivica Fox with her formerly fine ass (pre-plastic surgery) clowning herself for this loser was the most perplexing of all.

6. Queen Latifah
I first started hating a few rappers when she made that beautiful song (“U.N.I.T.Y.”), exclaiming: “You gotta let ‘em know—you’re not a bitch or a ho.”  Then I started hating her when I realized she didn’t mean it and that it was just good game. I know she hasn’t really been rhyming in a while, but she still has the same ironic name, so she gets lumped in here for wanting to be called a ho at the Academy Awards by the morons at number 3. She once asked: “Who you callin’ a bitch?”  Apparently you and apparently you like it. How do you feel?

7. Ying Yang Twins
While it may have been innovative to make a song whispering the lyrics, the real innovation would have been to make a song where the lyrics actually talked about something other than beating up a woman’s sexual organs. Perhaps Black women need to whisper in these fools’ ears that they are about to catch hell. And, let ‘em know that none of you are waiting to see their “Ohh!”

8. Lil Jon
Damn, it made me sad to see Black women run to the dance floor when this ridiculous looking dude started talking about the sweat running down his balls and how “all these bitches fall.” Who knew Jiminy Cricket was Black with dreads and gold fronts?

9. Trina
While she proclaims that she is the “Baddest Bitch,” this sad lady is really the dumbest woman, clowning herself and her gender for a tiny little paycheck that she can’t take to the bank and retire from.  She’ll have to be a whole lot more bitches before that money gets long.

10. Lil Kim
This freaky little rap star once made a song about how to properly perform oral sex. If that wasn’t enough, her biggest song features her in the background singing “F—k bitches, get money!” I’ve heard plenty of women claim that Lil Kim is a smart and powerful woman, but she hasn’t saved babies, run for office, discovered a cure for cancer, or hell, even controlled her own recording masters, so she shouldn’t be excused when excising the offensive content in rap music.

Now, there are ten prime targets for stamping out the ignorance that currently permeates rap music.  I’m certain that any of you can add to the list, but hopefully, we’ll see these fools get targeted by the “Shut it down” machine.
The only thing better than that would be to aim that machine at any and everyone who offends the image and culture of African Americans, beginning with us first.
