*Prince has been mentioned among a number of artists scheduled to perform at a series of charity events in East Hampton, NY this summer. According to NME, the events are scheduled to take place in July and August and will be held by The Ross School to benefit its scholarship fund. Also on board for the Hamptons concerts are Tom Petty, Billy Joel, James Taylor and Dave Matthews. However, the events have yet to be granted a mass gathering permit needed to move forward, reports NME. Unconfirmed reports are estimating that a ticket to gain access to all five events will cost around $15,000. *“Strength & Loyalty,” the first major label album in five years from Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, has debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop chart, No. 1 on the Rap chart and No. 2 on the Pop chart with scanned sales of 119,283, according to their label Interscope/Full Surface. In addition, the album's first single from Layzie Bone, Krayzie Bone and Wish Bone, "I Tried," featuring and produced by Akon, has jumped into the Top 10 of the Hot 100. The next single, "Lil Love," featuring Mariah Carey and Bow Wow (produced by Jermaine Dupri), is already climbing the chart at Rhythm Crossover radio. *The New York Post’s Page Six is reporting that Eve “shocked partygoers at Pete Wentz's East Village spot Angels & Kings the other night when she got behind the bar and started pouring drinks. ‘Everyone in the bar went nuts,’ said an onlooker. Customers were ‘throwing cash on the bar and ordering tons of drinks.’ Of course, Eve gave the tips to the bartenders - and she bought the crowd a round of shots.” *Ousted “American Idol” finalist Melinda Doolittle said she was “relieved” when host Ryan Seacrest announced that she was voted off of the show. She said it was "the first time that I had taken a breath in a really long time. Now I'm getting ready to sing just because I love it." *Advertisers for the Opie & Anthony show are rallying to support the radio jocks after XM suspended them for their crude conversation regarding Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, First Lady Laura Bush and Queen Elizabeth. In a letter posted on his company's Web site, Nashville Coffee GM, Lou Galli chastised XM: "It is apparent that XM Radio is beholden to crybaby special interest groups who cannot separate humor from reality," he wrote, saying he's not only pulled his own ads, but also contacted other O&A sponsors and encouraged them to do the same. *Jay-Z’s "I Will Not Lose" campaign for his Rocawear ladies line will, in addition to Ciara as spokeswoman, feature testimonials on overcoming hardship by singer Chris Brown, Virginia Tech newspaper editor Amy Steele and NBA star Caron Butler. The campaign will be shot by fashion photographer Mark Seliger. *Ludacris is starring in a new series of public service announcements for the National Runaway Switchboard to raise awareness of the youth runaway crisis in America. The rapper-actor, born Chris Bridges, will be featured in two 30-second and two 60-second PSAs. One set will focus on raising awareness about the runaway issue and NRS' hotline, 1-800-RUNAWAY. The other set will promote November as National Runaway Prevention Month. Last week, the PSAs were distributed to more than 1,300 TV stations and cable outlets throughout the country. The Ludacris Foundation and the NRS teamed last fall after the artist released his single "Runaway Love" featuring Mary J. Blige. Speak Out
