SUGE PUTS MALIBU MANSION ON THE MARKET: Move part of rap mogul’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy shuffle.
*Marion “Suge” Knight has placed his plush Malibu crib on the market for $6.2 million as part of his financial overhaul under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, reports the Associated Press.
Built in 2001, the gated property sits on a 6.79-acre lot in the hills above the Pacific Ocean and holds an 8,272-square-foot Mediterranean-style mansion with seven bedrooms and 9 ½ baths.
The house, which has access to two beaches, is being packaged with the sale of an additional 2.11 acres of land.

An Internet listing by Coldwell Banker notes the home’s “as is” offering, which is subject to approval by the bankruptcy court, AP reports.
In April 2006, Suge sought bankruptcy protection for himself and his record company, Death Row Records. He claimed debts of more than $100 million in each filing. At the time, Knight estimated personal assets of zero to $50,000.
