The lives of five women dealing with real issues of love, abuse and hope will be dramatically shared through theatre, dance and music in the one-of-a-kind live play, Shattered Silhouettes, performed at Irving Bible Church, Friday, August 17, at 7:00 pm by Naima Imani Lett, an actress on Lifetime's original series "Inspector Mom" and Fox Network's "Prison Break."

"Shattered Silhouettes is a powerful and moving drama based on the stories of five women from the Bible-Eve, Jezebel, Leah, Tamar, and Mary-and how they deal with hope, tragedy, love, power, abuse and even defeat," says Lett, who is debuting the play with her new Dallas-based production company Lett's Rise! Productions. "I want the audience to feel the very thoughts and emotions experienced by these women as they deal with, are defeated by or overcome some of the same types of problems we deal with in our every day lives."

Lett's live play has found national acclaim which recently earned Lett the distinguished opportunity to perform an excerpt as the opening act for world-renowned jazz saxophonist, Kirk Whalum at the Eisemann Center in Richardson, Texas.

Tickets to the August 17 performance are free, but seats are filling up fast Irving Bible Church's auditorium (2435 Kinwest Pkwy, Irving, Texas). RSVP is required at www.LettsRise.com or 972.252.4273.
