*Buddy Dallas, a longtime advisor to James Brown, is just now announcing results of a DNA test performed on 45-year-old retired flight attendant LaRhonda Petitt, which proves she is the late entertainer’s biological daughter. As previously reported, Dallas said earlier this month that two people have proven through DNA testing to have been fathered by Brown. He would not identify them at the time, however, the Augusta Chronicle reported that Petitt offered editors her test results as proof of his paternity. Petitt said her mother hooked up with Brown in the early 1960s after pulling her from the audience during one of his concerts in Los Angeles. She is the third person to determine through DNA testing done after Brown's death that the singer is their father, Dallas told The Chronicle Monday. The paper reported a Florida woman confirmed she also is one of Brown's children, but told the paper she did not want to be publicly identified. About a dozen DNA tests have been performed, the Chronicle reported. Some people have been ruled out as Brown's children, while other tests are pending, said Dallas, who would not release details about any of the newly found children. Speak Out
