FILM/TV/VIDEO GAME BITS: Nicole Richie’s buttocks; Snoop’s ‘Hood of Horror’; Tiger Woods video game released; ballers film NBA Live 08.(August 29, 2007)
*There is absolutely no junk in Nicole Richie’s trunk according to a new poll that ranks the reality TV star as having the flattest butt among female celebrities. The Internet survey comes from fast food chains Carl's Jr. and Hardee's to promote their new Patty Melt Burger – made with flat buns. Richie’s “Simple Life” co-star Paris Hilton ranked No. 2, followed by Kate Moss, Kiera Knightly, Mischa Barton, Cameron Diaz, Hillary Clinton, Lindsay Lohan, Victoria Beckham and Natalie Portman. Sen. Barack Obama ranked No. 10 among the male celebrities. “American Idol’s” Ryan Seacrest topped the list, followed by David Letterman, Jackie Chan, Johnny Depp, Tobey Maguire, Leonardo DiCaprio, Rudy Giuliani, Ashton Kutcher and Orlando Bloom. *Xenon Pictures announces the home entertainment release of “Snoop Dogg’s Hood of Horror” on Sept. 11. The film stars Snoop as the "Crib Keeper" presenting three grisly morality tales that blend horror, anime, live action and gallows humor. The movie, which tipped in and out of theaters last May, was inspired by the “Tales from the Crypt” comic book series and stars Ernie Hudson, Pooch Hall, Sydney Tamiia Poitier, Aries Spears, NBA star Tayshaun Prince, Billy Dee Williams, Method Man and others. *Electronic Arts has announced that Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08, featuring the breakthrough new GamerNet and Photo Game Face features, is now available in retail stores. GamerNet, an interactive gaming hub that hosts user-created gameplay online, records every shot on every hole of a player's game. With an on-line connection, gamers can then upload their most amazing performances on GamerNet and then earn points and bragging rights by posting video clips for other gamers to play against and by matching challenges set by others. With Photo Game Face, players will now be able to replicate themselves in the game, down to the finest detail. By simply uploading real-life photographs, players can create in-game characters that look exactly like the real thing with no artistic skill required. *In other video game news, NBA Live 08 cover athlete Gilbert Arenas (Washington Wizards) will host the NBA Live Summer Camp taking place today (Aug. 29) at EA Canada in Vancouver, B.C. Along with Arenas, NBA stars Paul Pierce (Boston Celtics), Josh Howard (Dallas Mavericks), Monta Ellis (Golden State Warriors), Shawn Marion (Phoenix Suns) and Randy Foye (Minnesota Timberwolves) will be on hand to have their go-to moves authentically represented in NBA Live through motion capture.
