       *The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra says tickets are officially on sale for the 2007/2008 SuperPops and Specials season, highlighted this year with appearances by Queen Latifah and Eartha Kitt.      

       Eartha Kitt's "80th Birthday Celebration with the ASO" is scheduled for 8 p.m. Oct. 19 and Oct. 20. Queen Latifah will perform at 8 p.m. Nov. 2 as part of a tour to promote her new album, "Trav'lin' Light."       

       Latifah's ASO appearance is one of only six tour stops she has booked in the entire southeast.
