*Lil Wayne showed up to court on Thursday (Oct. 11) after he was jailed in Boise, Idaho on a warrant issued in Atlanta.

The 25-year-old rapper, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., was issued the warrant after missing a court date stemming from an Aug. 2006 arrest on suspicion of drug possession. He was released on bond, but failed to show up at his next court date.

His lawyer, William Head, said the notice to appear in court was sent to the artist's New Orleans residence, which was destroyed in Hurricane Katrina.

"All they did was take his address off his driver's license," Head said. "So he never got it." Wayne was later informed that the case had been dismissed, but it wasn't, Head said.

Lil' Wayne is expected to appear again in court on Oct. 31.
