BLIGE, KRAVITZ, LATIFAH ADDED TO AMAs: Artists join Alicia Keys, Chris Brown, Fergie among performers for live event next week.(November 14, 2007)
*Mary J. Blige will belt her bouncy new single "Just Fine" on the 35th annual American Music Awards, which will broadcast live Nov. 18 (8 to 11 p.m.) on ABC from the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in downtown Los Angeles. Blige joins other recently-added performers Lenny Kravitz, Queen Latifah, Jonas Brothers, Rascal Flatts and Sugarland. The ceremony will also feature previously-announced performers Alicia Keys, Avril Lavigne, Celine Dion, Chris Brown, Daughtry, Duran Duran, Fergie, Maroon 5, Nicole Scherzinger, Rihanna and will.i.am, as well as "a special appearance" by Beyoncé. Making appearances on the program are Akon, Christina Applegate, Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, James Blunt, Justin Chambers, Miley Cyrus, Matt Dallas, Fabolous, Kirk Franklin, Josh Groban, Tony Hawk, Vanessa Hudgens, Lyfe Jennings, Sean Kingston, Solange Knowles, Chyler Leigh, Kellie Pickler, Ryan Seacrest, Gene Simmons, Slash, Snoop Dogg, Jordin Sparks, Taylor Swift, Ashley Tisdale, Blair Underwood, Carrie Underwood, Usher and Scott Weiland.
