MONICA WELCOMES BABY BOY: R&B singer gives birth Tuesday afternoon to Romello Montez Hill.
*It's a boy for R&B singer Monica, who gave birth Tuesday to her second child with boyfriend Rodney “Rocko” Hill.
Little Romello Montez Hill is 19½ inches long and tipped the scales at 5 lbs, 6 oz., according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Monica's manager/cousin Melinda Dancil said both the mother and baby are doing fine – and added that Romello got his middle name from his uncle Montez, who is Monica's brother.
Dancil also said the artist was working on her new album throughout the entire pregnancy and currently has 13 tracks completed.
Monica and Rocko, who are said to be engaged, already have a 2½-year-old son together named Rodney III, a.k.a. Lil Rock.
