NATALIE COLE TO TOUR THIS SPRING: Singer sets a handful of North American theater shows.

      *Soul legend Natalie Cole will hit the road this spring for a sprinkling of North American theater shows beginning March 14 in California.

      The Grammy-winner continues to support her 20th studio album, "Leavin'," a mix of pop, R&B and rock classics that was released in the fall of 2006. The set features Cole covering songs by such artists as Aretha Franklin, Neil Young, Fiona Apple, Kate Bush, Sting and Shelby Lynne, among others. It also includes the original tune "5 Minutes Away."

       Cole's first tour stop at Santa Barbara's Granada Theatre is in conjunction with its grand reopening celebration after being newly restored. The singer has also scheduled dates in Nova Scotia and Boston in March and April, respectively, before heading out for a half-dozen shows along the East Coast in May. Details are listed below.
