Dionne Warwick will release a traditional Gospel hymns and contemporary inspirational album on Rhino Records. Available March 18th, "Why We Sing" is her second Gospel project.

The five-time Grammy winner begins the CD with her rendition of "Glory Glory (a.k.a. "Battle Hymn of the Republic"), a song originally arranged in 1968 for her first Gospel album.

"Why We Sing" also includes "I'm Going Up," featuring BeBe Winans; "Seven" with David Elliott; "The Magic of Believing" and the title track, "Why We Sing," which features her sister Dee Dee Warwick.

Dionne revisits the first song she sang at St. Luke A.M.E. Church in Newark, New Jersey at the age of six, "Jesus Loves Me." Other songs on the album include "The Lord Is My Shepherd" and "Rise, Shine and Give God the Glory."

Grammy nominated Damon Elliott, Warwick's son, produced most of "Why We Sing." For more on the project, visit www.rhino.com
