MISSY WANTS YOU TO NAME HER NEW ALBUM: Plus, 3D glasses for new video available at various locations.
*Missy Elliott has left the naming of her new album up to fans who enter a contest on her Web site www.missy-elliott.com. Participants have until Feb. 20 to come up with a title for her seventh studio album, due on Goldmind/Atlantic in late Spring.
The set will feature her current singles "Ching-A-Ling" and "Shake Your Pom Pom," which also appear on the "Step Up 2 the Streets – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack."
The contest winner, to be announced March 2, will receive credit on Missy's new album and a $500 "Respect Me" adidas gift card.
Missy made live appearances on both MTV's "TRL" and BET's "106th & Park" earlier this week to premiere the 2-in-1, 3D video for "Ching-A-Ling" and "Shake Your Pom Pom." The glasses needed to view the 3D effects are available via FYE stores nationwide, at select adidas stores, and via radio giveaways in various cities hosting "STEP UP 2" movie screenings.
