SNOOP DOGG INVADES DAYTIME TV: Rapper to make remix "One Life to Live" theme song and make cameo appearance for May sweeps.
*Turns out those early reports of Snoop Dogg visiting the fictional town of Llanview are true.
The rapper, 36, will make an extended cameo on the ABC soap opera "One Life to Live" to perform two songs from his new album, "Ego Trippin'," at Llanview's Ultra Violet club, the network said Thursday.
"I've been a fan of `One Life to Live' since I was a baby," Snoop told the Associated Press. "My momma always had it on the tube in tha crib growing up. The opportunity to change up the theme song and give it some of my flavor will make the show the Life of The Party."
Snoop's episodes, to air May 8 and 9, will feature performances of "Sensual Seduction" and Life of Da Party," as well as his re-mixed version of the show's theme song. He will also act in scenes.
