GOSPEL'S LADY OF NEO SOUL SINGLE IS HOT: Cynthia Jones' 'Gotta Soul' climbs 30 spots in a week on BDS Chart.

Kingdom Records, home to praise and worship powerhouse choir Shekinah Glory Ministry and sensational Gospel singer Phil Tarver, has a new star in the making with Gospel’s Lady of Neo Soul Cynthia Jones.

Ms. Jones’ hot new single, “Gotta Soul,” on Kingdom Records/Universal Music Group, leapt an unprecedented 30 spots up the BDS Chart for the reporting period ending 2/24/08.

The single entered the chart at #75 and climbed to #44 in just a week. Jones recently signed a distribution deal with Universal Music Group after singing with Kingdom Records.

Cynthia has nurtured a national following from touring in some of Gospel’s largest tours and concerts, such as the “Hero Tour,” featuring Kirk Franklin, “The One Church Tour,” featuring Smokie Norful, and the ”Night of Praise and Worship Concert,” featuring Fred Hammond and Martha Munizzi.

Ms. Jones will be singing at the Urban Network Conference in Newport Beach, California on Thursday, March 27 at the Gospel showcase.
