*Thug crooner Nate Dogg, who continues to recover from a stroke suffered in December, pleaded guilty Tuesday to aggravated trespass and battery stemming from a 2006 domestic violence complaint brought by an ex-girlfriend.

The artist, best known as the go-to singer during Death Row's heyday in the 90s, received three years' informal probation and must also complete a batterers' treatment program. He is also forbidden from owning a weapon for the next 10 years, according to TMZ, which first reported the plea deal.

Nate, whose real name is Nathaniel Hale, was charged with misdemeanor aggravated trespass, battery, telephone harassment, dissuading a witness from reporting a crime and violating a restraining order from a previous domestic incident after breaking into the Newport Beach home occupied by his ex-girlfriend, her new boyfriend and the boyfriend's mother.

According to police, he forced his way inside and punched the other guy in the face before fleeing the scene. Both the unidentified boyfriend and Nate's ex filed for additional orders of protection to keep him away.

Meanwhile, the 38-year-old singer is paralyzed on the left side of his body after suffering a stroke over the Christmas holidays.
